Today we took part in Macmillan Coffee Morning, an event that the charity encourages others to engage in as a means to raise money for cancer support. We’ve taken part in many of these over the years, helping out the charity where we can.
This year was one of the best yet, with some amazing food brought forward by our amazing employees.
These included;
All of these went down a treat with our staff and our building neighbours, who donated a solid amount for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We are very thankful for everyone that baked, donated, tasted and had fun during our coffee morning. We’re all super full, but we can’t wait for next years event!

Here’s just a few of what we’ve received this month:
“I called Harrogatemoneyman after a bad experience from a different mortgage broker. Jonathan was so helpful and made it so easy from start to finish! Thanks!” – Sally D
“The level of service from Harrogate Moneyman was exceptional. Their guidance and advice on product selection was second to none, they picked us out a great mortgage and were always on hand to guide us through the process. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Harrogate Moneyman team to friends and family.” – Anonymous
“Chris and the team at UK Money Man made the whole process easy, from getting us a last-minute mortgage offer so we could secure our dream house through the to the final mortgage application. I can’t recommend them highly enough, I found it reassuring that the pre-application team made sure everything was in order so the process would complete smoothly.” – Anonymous
“I approached this broker after being let down by my bank on a new mortgage. They were able to successfully match me with suitable lenders who had lending criterion that enabled them to proceed to an offer. Well worth paying a fee when you can achieve your goal, rather than not going ahead at all.” – Anonymous
The right to buy scheme can allow tenants who live in England to purchase their property from the council for a discounted price.
If you have spent at least three years (not always continuous) renting from the public sector as opposed to privately and are secure tenants of council property, you may be eligible for the Right to Buy Scheme in Harrogate. In the right to Buy sale, the property will be valued at the full market price, with a government discount applied to it.
The discount percentage depends on varying factors, such as where you are in the country and how long you’ve been a council tenant. A big advantage of the Right to Buy is that due to the discount, there will usually be equity in the house already. How much equity again depends on varying factors, such as how much your discount is and the value of the property.
We often find that those who utilize the Right to Buy Scheme are First Time Buyers in Harrogate. We love working alongside First Time Buyers and are here throughout every step of the process. This starts with your initial inquiry, all the way through to your completion.
Working out your monthly outgoings may be greatly beneficial to you if you are thinking of buying your council home.
Our recommendation is to work out what you have now as a tenant, then compare that to what it would be like if you were a homeowner. We are more than happy to help you out with this part.
As a knowledgeable and experienced Mortgage Broker in Harrogate, we can look through 1000’s of Right to Buy mortgage deals for you, tailored to your circumstances.
Throughout the whole process, we’ll offer a multitude of help and guidance, answering any questions you may have. We even aid with other local services when necessary, such as conveyancing.
Our brilliant team is incredibly proud of the service levels we provide day in and day out – This is reflected in our genuine customer reviews.
